In your own words, what is your role as a school board member?

A school board member’s role is to represent the citizens of their district and to support students and staff through the oversight of policy and budgeting.

Why did you want to become a member of the school board?

I wanted to become a school board member because I desire all kids to have the best possible education that will support them in becoming productive citizens of society.

Outside of serving on the school board, what is your full-time job, and how long have you been in your present work?

I currently serve as a director of pricing at Jones Logistics. I have worked in transportation in logistics for 24 years.

Tell us about your family.

I have been married to Jennifer for 17 years. We have one daughter, Caroline, who is a junior at Cascade High School. We also have a Goldendoodle named Champ.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

My family enjoys traveling and attending sporting events! I also enjoy walking, hiking and hanging out with my family and friends.

How many years have you served as a school board member?

I have served on the board since 2012.

From your time serving on the school board, what are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the projects that are in progress and have been completed that have improved the infrastructure in our district.
