Transportation & School Zones

We are looking forward to having your child ride the school bus! We are proud of the staff and bus drivers who are part of our Transportation Department. They are committed to the safety of every child. Bedford County runs 76 school buses every day, all of which are equipped with cameras and two-way radios. We transport about 4,500 students twice a day to and from school, which accounts for 4,700 miles a day. We also run 7434 miles!
